Welcome!
Will this be your first Pennsic – or your first SCA event?
Pennsic is a huge event with a lot of different sights, sounds, and activities. For someone new, it can be a bit overwhelming, and will certainly raise a lot of questions. Not to fear, help is here! We have several options to help make your Pennsic fantastic with classes and a social just for newcomers, and Newcomers' Point where you can drop in and ask questions. Please feel free to come by the Point or the Newcomers' Class Tent anytime just to visit, if you are in the area.

For the sixth year, the Chatelaines of the known world will host the Newcomers' Social. Newcomers are encouraged to come and meet other Newcomers as well as Chatelaines from around the Knowne World, ask questions, and partake of some light refreshments. Rumor has it that there may be some Royals attending to welcome the newcomers as well.
